I’m Maurice Baier, a Fractional CFO specializing in SaaS, e-commerce, and fintech startups. With over a decade of experience in finance, I help businesses optimize financial operations, secure investor funding, and scale efficiently.

I’ve always been passionate about helping startups thrive—whether it’s building investor-ready financial models, improving cash flow, or implementing scalable financial systems. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a company grow with the right financial strategy in place.

Before moving into the startup world, I worked at EY Zürich, auditing national and international insurance firms. This gave me a strong foundation in financial controls, compliance, and risk management, which I now apply to fast-growing businesses that need structure and financial clarity.

At Beekeeper, I led FP&A, budgeting, and investor relations, playing a key role in securing $75M in external funding and implementing financial tools like SAP, Chargebee, and Lucanet. Now, as a Fractional CFO, I bring that expertise to startups looking for strategic financial guidance without the cost of a full-time CFO.
